about

A little about me...

I’m Emily: a designer of experiences and interactions living in beautiful San Francisco, and a Code for America Fellow working with the city of Austin until November, 2012. I want to do work that’s new, important, and most of all, so easy to use you don’t even notice all the work I did to make it that way.

Check out my upcoming presentations at The Code for America Summit, and TwilioCon. I keep a blog for my illustration, design, and other creative exploration: Scribbler.

Raised in Texas, I studied at Parsons in NYC, and completed my BFA in Illustration at California College of Arts and Crafts in San Francisco.
